Summer Makeup

Outshine the sun! Our summer makeup is not only pleasantly lightweight, it is also easy to apply.

What’s more, we’ll give you some tips on how to beat the heat with makeup.

Step by Step

Refresh your skin

A moisturizing, tinted day cream refreshes your skin and evens out your complexion.

Gel textures are perfect for the summer, because they are lightweight and natural-looking.

Apply it with a makeup brush and work it in with your hands.

Conceal

Conceal redness and imperfections quickly and easily with a concealer.

It’s best to apply it with an integrated applicator, and to blend it in over large areas using a concealer brush.

Sun-kissed

A little bronzing powder gives you a nice summer glow for when the sun goes down.

Apply the powder to your face using a blush or powder brush (depending on the shape of your face), starting along the outer edges and working your way towards the middle.

Wow brows

Color and fixing all in one. Quickly whip your brows into shape with the help of a colored brow gel.

Paired with simple summer makeup, it’s easy to make a real beauty statement by styling and fluffing up your brows.

Cream eyeshadow

Eyeshadow with a creamy texture has the best staying power in the summer. To avoid smudging and creasing, we recommend first applying an eyeshadow primer.

Subtle eyeshadow colors like “seashell” or “sunset beach” can be used as a highlighter for a natural summer look. Apply eyeshadow to the inner corners of your eyes and under the highest part of your brows, and blend it using the tip of your finger. Highlight your natural crease, the outer part of your eyelid, and your lower lash line with an apricot color.

EXPERT TIP

To avoid a blotchy finish in the heat, set your tinted day cream with the No Color Setting Powder before applying your makeup.

Waterproof

Heat & water make waterproof mascara an absolute must in summer.

Start by applying mascara to your lower lashes, then to your upper lashes. To get full lashes, apply mascara to the base of your lashes through to the tips.

Lip gloss

In summer, your lips dry out faster than usual. Lipsticks with nourishing waxes serve as a protective barrier, while adding moisture and leaving your lips feeling soft.

To complete your summer makeup look, go for a lipstick with a glossy finish, leaving your lips looking gorgeously voluminous.
